Venue Support Crew
Handles organization, storage, and transfer of bikes at various locations along the route. This activity may involve heavy lifting (mostly bikes).
Medical - Finish Venues & Rest Stops
Provide Riders, volunteers, spectators and other participants with first aid assistance at venue sites along route. All volunteers in this role should have BLS training or a medical background.
Food & Beverage Tent
Assist in serving food and beverages to Riders and guests at various venue sites. Ensure all areas are clean and free of debris. This activity may involve heavy lifting.
Supplement volunteer teams and perform various tasks as necessary. Activities may include set-up, clean-up and cheering on Riders. This activity may involve heavy lifting or standing for extended periods of time.
Information / Questions
Greet Riders and guests and assist with inquiries at various venue locations.
Coordinate organization, storage, shipment, and delivery of Rider bags.
Takes photographs and/or shoots video during Paceline weekend at various locations.
Assist with check-in and dispatch process of Riders to various locations.
Rider Shuttle Management
Assist with operation of Rider shuttle transfers from the various finish venues back to start line
Staging - Ride Launch
Coordinate the organization of Riders at the overall start to ensure that every Rider starts safely and timely. This activity may require standing for extended periods of time.
Site Clean-Up And Tear Down
Assist with cleanup and tear down of finish venues. This activity may involve heavy lifting.
Helps with the check-in and dispatch process of volunteers to various locations.
Route Support Crew
SAG (Support And Gear) Crew
SAG Driver: Volunteer who drives Paceline marked vehicles along route to troubleshoot and assist Riders as necessary. All SAG vehicles will have a Driver + Medical Volunteer.
SAG Medical/Communicator: Medical volunteer who rides in the SAG vehicle and acts as a communicator to central command while providing medical support as needed to riders on the course. All volunteers in this role should have BLS training or a medical background.
*Note - 2 medical volunteers can be in the same vehicle sharing driving/medical duties*
Rest Stop Crew
Perfect for groups and one of the most enjoyable elements of Paceline. There are 6-8 total rest stops during the ride. Responsible for setting up, cheering for and serving the riders as they come into your rest stop. Think of it as your home as you welcome the riders.
